The Counter's Ticking Towards a Party!

Have y'all been watching that counter? I have. I do recall saying something like "There'll be a prize the day we hit 5000"...and a party, too! So...will we hit it today? I'm thinking so. But of course, only if y'all come to visit.

City Boy bought me a couple of Photoshop magazines! I'm just having way too much fun (and it's completely consuming me...) Naturally, you recognize Ohren's picture above. It didn't start out that way. (Thankfully...as I'd be rather frightened to go outside and find one of my new lambs wearing a party hat.) The coolest thing I learned was how to cut and paste...the easy way!

Geek Boy had tried to teach me how to cut and paste before, but I'm a lousy student, especially where technology is concerned. So I just bagged the idea. Then in walks City Boy with the magazine...they're bloomin' expensive! I'd never spend that much on it myself, but I'm so excited he did. Of course, I'm now a total addict. I was only a partial addict before. He may be sorry he ever brought them home... Do you think there's a twelve step program? I hope not!
So, what other goofy things have I been up to with Photoshop?

Meet Pyscho Roo! He's one of the recent additions at the Cafe Press Store. This one here, however, has the Carpenter Creek name across the top, and he could be yours! Yes, I know...you're overwhelmed at the prospect of owning him...hee hee! Well, he'll come on a t-shirt, along with other goodies, if you're the winner of the 5000 Visits contest.
Okay, I'm going to go do something serious now. Maybe castrate a lamb. Oooooo...you guys are crossing those legs, aren't you? Well, maybe I will, and maybe I won't. All depends on Darling. She'd been considering keeping Ohren as a pet, and if she does, it'll need to happen. Don't worry, we'll document the whole thing for you! Then again, perhaps she'll decide she wants to get one of those little ewe lambs of Margery's. If that's the case, all of Ohren's body parts will be safe.
Y'all have a good day, and don't forget...you can't win if you don't leave a comment!

I think my son would flip for a t-shirt with that Roo on it! He LOVES his birds!

I really have to get my hands on that magazine. Please tell me where to get one. I love the pics. And you said it was easy right? Okay well, easy I need. lol

That poor little lamb has no clue does he.... I think Darling needs one of Margery's little ewe lambs for a pet. I really think she does. :)

I am here for you. And me!
YOU say Photoshop is easy??? HA! Then I must dispute the "lost brain" post. No one, and I mean no one, w/o a fully intact brain can decipher Photoshop!

I hope you hit your target of 5000. It is always fun watching the counters. Is yours counter individual people or page views. Good luck

Commenting 'cause I just know I'll be a winner on this one.

If you can castrate a lamb I guess it shouldn't suprise me that you could "castrate" Photo Shop, HAHAHA

I have photoshop elements, good enough I guess. I've heard it's hard to learn how to use the real photoshop. Looks like you've got it licked though!

I'm all for a party! Can't wait!

Sigh.......I need a large NOVEL on Photoshop! My husband has also tried to teach me, and I'm still left with a blank stare. :) Love the lambs!!!

Heaven help us!! I hope you don't document the castration on here for all of us to see! EEEEWWWWWW!! Major ouch for the poor little guy. Just thinking about it hurts bad enough! Yes, my legs are crossed and I've got nothing to castrate! Give that lamb a shot of whiskey before you do that will ya??

Fun post!

Do you band or cut?

Thanks for visiting my blog today--yours is fun. And anything I can do to help you with that 5,000 count!

I love photoshopping, too; I'm not great at it, but it's way too fun.

Tracey said...

Cyn...yes, the cut and past was super easy! I'm certain you can do it.

The magazine is called PS Photoshop. The issue I've got in my hands has a little girl holding a camera..she's blonde and just a little freaky looking if you ask me.

Hey...only 98 hits left to go!

Okay ... I am doing my bit to get the counter to 5000! Love the little lambie photo but I don't want to think about his impending fate should he become a pet!

Girl, my 15 year old son has master Photoshop (and all the others) to the point that his photography/journalism teacher has him teaching the class....ha!

Tracey said...

What is it with kids, Kelly? They just seem to catch on to all this technology with such ease. And I need help changing the channel =)

59 hits left to go...Think we'll get it done today?

Oh...and a big announcement tomorrow, my friends!

But if he is wethered that would guarantee him a good home instead of the possibility of freezer camp ....but how nice it would be to have a ewe lamb to add to the flock...sure glad it's not my decision :)

WHEEEEW! I read about the castration then reading comments someone said "Do you band or cut?"
and I went speed reading a little further and see your comment "yes, the cut and past was super easy! I'm certain you can do it." and I shuddered at the thought until I remembered that you were talking about photo shop also!!!! LOL
Good luck hitting 5000 thanks for visiting my blog today. Now I gotta go back to reread your post and make sure I'm not winning a castration!!! LOL sorry I had to say it!!

Hooray! Wow...aren't these streamers and balloons something???

Did someone say cake? Oh, I like cake. Yes, lets have some. Chocolate, of course. At least, that's what my slice will be. What flavor is your's? And naturally, it's not ruining anyone's diet, so lets toss on some ice cream, too.

Dorky...lol...have you picked yourself up off the floor yet, hon?
